Dear Betsy Barron,
Known to all as “Brie,”
We celebrate your wedding,
And no one’s happier than me!

This lovely bridal shower
Is really cause for rave.
Joy today, from all of us,
And soon…a marriage to Dave!

We’re overjoyed for sure,
That Dave and Brie are one.
Brie is just the best,
Really loads of fun.

She always makes me laugh,
Helps in every way.
Brie is oh-so-special,
What more can I say?

She’s honest to a “T,”
Always pulling through.
Got something to get done?
Brie can surely do!

I remember one great time,
A new assistant interview.
Brie called me, laughing hard,
Just guess what did ensue!

She said come up, ASAP,
This you gotta see!
I did — I saw a lovely girl…
With a lovely…well…goatee.

Diversity is one thing,
But this was off the beam.
We made it through the interview,
And we “took one for the team.”

As Brie can always confirm,
The Fish Market is our favorite place.
We go for special occasions,
A smile on every face.

Brie loves to make her quilts,
For one and all, for sure.
Her Santa Claus quilts are special,
So are her baby quilts galore.

She’s the Queen of our Christmas parties,
Plans them with great flair.
Count on Brie most ever time,
For things extraordinaire.

Friendship radiates from her,
From her boundless heart.
A loving mom and grandma, too,
She’ll always take Gracie’s part.

I’m just so happy for her,
Dave’s the greatest guy.
That they found each other,
Brings a happy tear to my eye.

This celebration’s special,
They’re a couple just so great.
And Brie, as I keep saying,
Is a friend who’s so first rate.

With wishes for true happiness,
As expansive as the stars above.
May your life be filled with joy and peace,
And always, heartfelt love.
